This place is just as crazy and delicious as you've heard. The doughnuts will send you into diabetic shock, and it's completely worth it. Also a great place to see much of the weirdness of Portland. No indoor seating, but there are some picnic tables outside.

Great little donut shop. Very unique. I have been going to this shop since it opened years ago. It’s changed a lot and has gotten very popular. Expect long lines. Definitely not the best donuts in town, but a fun and very Portland experience.

Everyone I spoke with about this trip mentioned going to voodoo donuts. So Sunday morning I woke up and decided to go check it out. I arrived there around 8am and there was no waiting in line. I ordered a standard generic apple fritter and honestly it's not any better than the apple fritter I get at home from my local donut shop.
What makes this place interesting is the variety of strange donuts they sell. For example donuts sold with cereal on top of them. Donuts with whole slices of bacon, even donuts shaped like man parts!
So go there because the place is interesting and try something unique. Here's a helpful tip this place is cash only. Don't worry they have an atm.

Donuts were fresh and tasted great. Interesting flavors and concept. This is a small location. There was a long waiting line when I went, and from what I hear there always is. So if you don't mind the wait then I recommend this place. If you're on limited time then I would say skip it. They only accept cash so make sure you go prepared.

Wanted my best friend from CA see and taste "The" Voodoo D.
It's a walkable distance from main Broadway downtown BUT even on a weekday afternoon (2'ish),. the area is a bit suspect and more so, when we reached the store.
We did not even venture inside as there was a group of men (about 6) arguing loudly and moving/fighting right by the entrance. This was aside from a few more lounging by the side.
All we could do was cross the street and take a picture fr there.
