Loved the food and service. Loved the murder mystery even more. If you haven't done it yet I definitely recommend doing it at least once. It was fun to dress up. Even though I got it wrong and didn't win, one of the cast members still was very nice and gave me an award because it was my birthday and my answer was full of some "creative detectiveizing". Can't wait till I go again!

Old Spaghetti Factory as a whole (the chain itself) is certainly an impressive company, with reasonable prices, good food, and a charming "old time/antique" ambience at each location.
This particular location, however, has always been our favorite. The staff is always pleasant, helpful, and kind and the location right off of the Willamette River is a beautiful setting for a date, a family night, or just to eat, relax and take in the beauty of Portland.
Definitely give this restaurant a try, and if you can manage, come to this particular location. You won't regret it- plus, the Sour Dough Bread with Garlic Butter is to die for.

I have been coming here for more than 35 years. My favorite restaurant ever. I came here when this trolley car was in Old Town Portland then it was moved to the foundation it sits on today, when they built the building around it because the plans had no way to fit it through the door. I've been to OSFs in Seattle, San Jose, Portland Metro, Fullerton, Newport Beach and others. Every time, every place have I been never disappointed. Each one a masterpiece in decor but not one has ever beat this one. A bucket list number 1 if you never been there.

This is the best Old Spaghetti Factory. The location and building are amazing--they could easily turn it into a five-star fine dining establishment with exorbitant prices. Instead, they serve their standard fare of Italian food at prices similar to those of a gourmet burger joint. The food is basic, but still tastes good, and you get a large serving. And nothing beats finishing off your dining experience with Spumoni ice cream, that comes with every meal. I also highly recommend getting the bacon garlic cheese bread as an appetizer--yum!

The atmosphere is one of the best parts of the Old Spaghetti Factory! It has unique decor, right on the water front, and dim lighting that makes it somehow romantic, professional, and friendly. The portions are reasonable at lunch and big at dinner. It has a simple menu to choose from. I've had the crab ravioli for dinner which was very creamy and rich. For lunch, I loved the brown butter and cheese spaghetti. It has special options for combining different sauces on one plate to try them all. The staff is friendly and smiley. It's classics include the sour dough bread before the meal and spumoni ice cream after. The price is very reasonable for the simple spaghetti dishes. I've come here three times in the past month because of fun environment, friendly staff, and simple but tasty meals.
