Meets my expectations for Albertsons. It's clean enough for a large grocery story and food quality is above average but so is the price.

I just moved to this neighborhood and I love that this Albertson's is open until midnight and has a good selection of organic produce as well as unique produce you can't find at other stores.

I have been shopping here for probably over 25 years as it's close to my house. The Pharmacists here get 5/5 stars from me, and Debbie gets 6/5, she is awesome. The shopping is pretty good, not much to complain about but where service falls short is if you need to return bottles...suddenly I feel like a second class citizen by the way I am treated. Many times I have waited for them to send someone out to fix the bottle machines waiting 15 - 20 minutes sometimes and multiple requests to send someone out. Tonight there was a huge line and only 1 machine working and a second that shut down after 4 or 5 bottles. My wife went inside for a hand count and was refused (3 or 4 dollars worth). I understand the machines are leased and major repairs are done by another company, but this has been an ongoing problem for a very long time. If I have to pay a bottle deposit, I should not be treated like I'm bothering them when I come to return them.

This store staffs some of the friendliest people and offers services like a bottle return and an indoor coffee shop, pharmacy and Redbox. I also like that this Albertsons is open late, has security cameras and friendly security personnel. As Portland grows and becomes more like Los Angeles every day, I appreciate a business that invests in keeping their customers safer.
