Amazing museum for all ages. Kids stuff downstairs, more interesting stuff upstairs. When I went the planetarium was closed and they were between main exhibits, but even then it was an awesome day. Love this place

Still one of the best science museums around; well laid out exhibits with lots of well-presented information, a good rotation of first- rate traveling exhibits (just finished 'Pompeii') and a good slate of movies in the Imax theater. Membership is still reasonable and includes a parking pass for the members-only spaces. OMSI and the Oregon Zoo are both great examples of how to do it right.

Excellent museum. Lots of activities for kids and still a bit to cater to the adults. For the grand admission (museum access, sub tour, movie showing, planetarium, and parking) it ran me about $31. But I was definitely entertained the entire time. The submarine tour was fascinating and afterwards I had made a stop into the Theory kitchen for a bite and a beer (pictured). Great food. This place is awesome. I just wish it was bigger.

Had a catered event there. Fruit tasted like onions (must not have rinsed the cutting boards or the knives) and our baked goods arrived about an hour later than the scheduled "breakfast" time. Lunch was better in that it was there and ready to eat at the right time, but left a lot to be desired as far as being well made.

The museum is a wonderful place for kids and families. If you are considering renting a room for a corporate event, try to bring your own food, or consider delivery if possible.

Even the room was great and had all the tech we needed for presentations, but again... Cater elsewhere.

OMSI is great for all ages. For 0 to 6 there is a play area upstairs that had a sand pit (super clean, sparkly sand), water area, nature area, and much more. Young kids can spend hours in there. Then there are exhibits upstairs and downstairs that are great for age 2 to teenagers (I often see parents participate too!). They also have fantastic rotating exhibits that are always very interesting. They have a great gift store, bathrooms everywhere, two food cafes, a submarine tour, a planetarium, and a theater to watch science movies. Their memberships are the best in town and I'd highly recommend getting one so you can go back and explore the place over and over.
