I have HepC from a blood transfusion in 1982. Last year I had severe bleeding from esophageal varices. So bad was it that I was terribly weak from anemia. This year Dr. Zaman did a followup EGD and found no bleeding or threatened veins.
Dr. Zaman eased my fears and gave me more hope than anyone else I have seen in a year being in Portland.Hopefully he will start me on a new course of medications to clear me of the disease.
My only challenge to getting treated is that I am still homeless after working with several agencies that were supposed to get me into my own place.
