Rude service, and then they charged me an outrageous amount of money when a rock chipped the windshield and I could not even talk to anyone at Dollar to explain some of the charges.

DT Portland rental on Broadway are always very nice. I've rented twice in the last few months. One in Spring which was less $, then due to Summer demand, the price is higher. I ordered car online & price for rental incl. all fees exactly as expected. As stated online any insurance needed is added at the counter, & coverage was still explained to me and I agreed to the extra daily charges because I do not presently have coverage from any other source. With all the distracted drivers out there these days, it seemed like a small price to pay to avoid any problems/costs later.
Overall, they were thorough, relatively quick and very friendly car rental exp. Would recommend this Dollar site to anyone in DT Portland.

Friendly, quick, and efficient. Seemed like a somewhat limited selection, but they had what we wanted so I can't complain.

I am a frequent renter and I have always had fast, efficient and courteous service. The cars are clean and ready to go. The staff is so nice it makes for a pleasant experience.
