We didn't have any wait or delay in getting on the road in a very nice Ford Fusion Hybrid. The manager was friendly and efficient, he explained the features of the car and we were on our way in a few minutes. The same treatment was afforded when we turned the car in. This office is very efficient, I have rented two cars from them on our trip to the PNW last year and this. I will get another Avis car next time we come to Portland.

The busiest Avisin Portland. Avoid if possible, but go early if you must. Run out of cars and lines out the door.

The only car rental place opened on Labor day weekend. It saved our plans! Very nice staff. Check in and return were very easy.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is an unconventional rental location (parking garage downtown), but it is worth the savings over the airport rental prices. We were required to report the mileage and fuel level upon return to save a repeat trip to the car after dropping it off. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a great deal on a car rental. If you require the extra services typically found in airport locations (and don't mind paying quite a bit more), call ahead before reserving to make sure it's right for you. The streetcar to the airport is 3 blocks from this location.

The management must have looked at the previous reviews and if they did I thank them for caring enough to improve their customer relations.
My experience was great, friendly greeting and helped quickly. I'd go back again if I need a car in downtown Portland!
