My wife and I have been guests on several visits. Our son and his family are about a 20 minute walk away which is why we chose it the first time. We were pleased enough to considered it our preferred residence when in Portland. It's across the street from a New Seasons Market and 2 blocks from a Fred Meyer. Lot's of good restaurants and interesting shops up and down Hawthorn. Once you familiarize yourself with the fabulous bus and light rail in the area you will navigate all of Portland with ease. We will be there again this fall for several days.

What a great find! We used the Guesthouse for out of town guests. We were able to easily accommodate everyone's varying schedules with the Guesthouse's security system and two wonderful bedrooms. We had all the household amenities we could hope for - even a washer/dryer! The back patio was lovely for evening cookouts on the grill. The hosts were very attentive and kind. We will definitely use the Guesthouse again.
