I hate chicken but they are known for chicken dishes, which they do very well. So I like their chicken. We got the fish sauce chicken wings, half roasted chicken and the beef curry. The fish sauce chicken wings were a bit too salty for me, but the roasted chicken and sticky rice was amazing! Awesome. The beef curry/stew was really yummy too but a bit bland.... Come like an hour before dinner and you won’t have to wait. Service was so so... probably because they were super busy.

Pok Pok is the place for lunch when I travel to Portland. Looking for open parking spaces in the neighborhood takes time. Once in, service is fairly quick. Food and drinks feel authentic including the use of locally sourced items. Flavors are awesome. The wings are a favorite! Last time we ended up meeting strangers sitting next to us and after a great conversation over a 2 hour lunch we left as friends. Love the food and atmosphere! Would recommend to anyone!

We tried new things and were amazed at the combinations of flavors. Excellent location and great atmosphere. Nice to be experimental but they have some safe exotic choices too. Can't wait to go back.

This is one of the few places I hit up while I was in Portland. The line was long (~40m) but it was worth it. I got the chicken wings with fish sauce which was pretty great. The amount was very generous. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. Great service. Will come again!

Great place for Thai food that originates from norther and eastern Thailand and is typically hard to find at domestic Thai restaurants. There is a long wait if you just show up, but if you have a larger party they accept reservations in advance. Prices are on the high side and probably reflect their popularity, but the food is amazing. Portions are generally smaller than what most people would expect for Thai food, so order an extra dish. It is very easy to split means family style. They serve Beer Lao Dark bottles, which tends to be a fairly rare find stateside.
