Great atmosphere, large selection of high quality bourbon and whisky and a decent happy hour menu. Only knock, the service was terrible. I don't know if our server was having an off night or she didn't like my friends and myself but, it really soured what was a pretty reasonable place to grab a drink

I got the Montreal steak here. This is how much loved this dish. The first few minutes I thought they delivered the wrong dish but I liked it so much I did not want to give it back. My wife had the beef stroganoff, and I thought that was good as well. This place has been around all these years for a reason. So go!! I am going everytime I bust Portland.

Jim's salad was light and delicious. Yummy slaw with bay shrimp. One of the owner's chatted a bit and gave history of the stained glass ceiling. Cool bar and great wait staff too.

Given the price, this place was way bigger and nicer than I anticipated. We came for happy hour but it requires buying two drinks. The drinks were great, especially the famous Spanish coffee and we got a Singapore sling and calamari rings. Beautiful interior, perfect for a date. Beware, the drinks are strong!!!
