The food was good, but not worth the price. The atmosphere out side was cool with the vine covered pergola, but the traffic noise really makes conversation hard. The waiter was nice and knowledgeable but way to talkative. Every time he came to the table he stayed and talked and continually asked questions, in general was overly nosy.

Delicious food, but odd music choices. It would be much more appropriate to have listened to peaceful French music, or perhaps Pink Martini.

Perfect portions & friendly owners. Everything was fresh and delicious. The spinach omlete was amazing and the freshly baked blueberry muffin just right. Quant place with a nice outdoor deck surrounded by beautiful plants.

Let me say, I get that some places have a bad day now and again. This was my first experience here, so it's what I'm going to base my experience on.

They get one star for the following reasons:

- On the way to the bathroom overheard the cook say, "I wouldn't even eat food I cook"

- A party of four seated after us (a party of two) was served and nearly finished with their meal before our food arrived.

- Waiter told me that the reason it took so long is that the oven wasn't on and they needed to use it for the Baked Eggs in the Shirred Eggs I ordered. Said it took 30 minutes before it was ready to cook. I don't get this considering we ate on a Sunday and the only things they serve are breakfast on Sundays.

- When the Shirred Eggs (Baked Eggs) got here they were barely not raw and we not very hot. It was like a raw egg and tomato soup. Even the hash browns we're basically mash potatoes that were browned on both sides.

Now, all that being said, the girlfriend's Eggs Benedict I found to be very good. So in all, 1/4 of our food was worth the money.

I'm not going to be back.

My rating is based on only one visit, but WOW, what a meal! Brunch at Cafe Du Berry was to die for! HIGHLY recommend the French toast. Everything looked and tasted homemade. Good-sized portions, flavourful food, attentive service, and a welcoming 'family' feeling. Hard to ask for anything more than that!!
