I want to start off by saying that I have major fear of anything that has to do with the dentist, I've had some awful experiences as many have had, and have had a hard time finding a dentist and office that made me feel comfortable. From the minute I walked in the door of Optima Dental I felt something different. All of the staff, from the wonderful ladies up front, to everyone in the back office made me feel right at home. Let me assure you, I am a ball of nerves and probably not the most fun patient, but not one person made me feel like an inconvenience. Everyone has taken their time with me and explained step by step, down to what simple tool they were putting in my mouth when I was nervous about what they were going to do. I had to have a lot of work done, so I've been there quite a few times. They've made sure to sedate me for the major procedures and use gas for even the minor things that I still am shaking in the chair for. If it were any other place, I would not have been able to go through with getting the work that I badly needed done. You have one assistant that follows you through your whole process and really gets to know you and your fears/likes/dislikes without even asking. Dr. Saleh is very gentle and so personable and also has a sense of humor, which makes it easier as well. I want to thank the whole team from the bottom of my heart for how they've helped me, more than they know.

They advertised a free dental CT and consult. And guess what? It was free. Front desk staffer got some medical imaging from a nearby hospital on short notice. The office suite is nicely designed, and decorated in a modern yet comfortable style.
Dr. Mo was thorough, but did not waste our time. No pressured sales pitches. Very professional and personable.

Highway Robbery - I made an appointment for a cleaning. Plain and Simple. 20 minutes after my appointment time I was finally seen. They told me they needed to take x-rays which I understood but those x-rays took 45 minutes because they also needed pictures. Well, an HOUR later I finally saw the Dentist who had the bedside manner of a truck driver and was told NO CLEANING for me. I needed a Deep Cleaning and guess what - that only runs TRIPLE the cost. I called 2 other dentists after my appointment who told me that was totally ludicrous. They could have done a cleaning and then recommended I come back for a deep cleaning but they were looking to charge me an arm and a leg. Oh, and the best part they billed insurance close to $300.00 for NO cleaning. I guess that was for all the x-rays and all the pictures even though I was told by the tech they do that regardless of insurance because they need to see them. If you go to this place I would review every cost before you walk through the door. I for sure will NOT be recommending this place to anyone.

I love Shelly the dental hygienist. I finally don't dread my 6-month cleanings. I also just love the luxuries they offer here. You can wait in the massage chair, have a latte and a paraffin hand treatment. I had a root canal with nitrous and wore the movie glasses and headphones. I watched Stepbrothers. It was fantastic. I was trying not to laugh too much. Unfortunately, I just have bad teeth and have been to many many dental offices for fillings and more extensive work throughout my life. Optima Dental is by far my favorite dental office. Everyone is very nice. The dentists are amazing and I completely trust their work. I've been going since 2015 with no complaints.
