Just a warning: The owner, Gail DeRice, is NOT a licensed doctor or physician. After only my third laser hair removal appointment, I noticed that I had been burned. I promptly called her to report the burns and ask for guidance and what ensued was an unpleasant standoff. She blamed me and assumed I had the burns because of prior sun exposure. When I explained that was impossible because I had not been in any tanning booths or out in the sun for over 8 months (as instructed) she blew me off and reminded me that I had signed a waiver. I explained that regardless of the waiver, I was very concerned and worried about how my skin would heal. She was unbelievably UNSYMPATHETC and never even offered to see me to look at the damage.
Feeling completely bewildered and mislead by Gail's lack of professionalism, the obvious decision was to take my business elsewhere. Trust me, laser hair removal is a serious procedure.
An inexperienced technician using a laser CAN BURN your skin and leave SCARS and hyper pigmentation spots all over you, which are hideous! Make sure this service is performed under the DIRECT SUPERVISION, if not BY a doctor or licensed physician in a reputable clinic that knows what they are doing. Someone that is so careless and ignorant as she, should not be in the business of working with or on patients.
