I was literally cackling with glee as I ate my Lobster Diavolo last night. I got a few looks from nearby tables, but it was THAT good and we (my husband & I) had so much fun sharing it and cracking the giant lobster claws open.
This dish is HUGE! We ate our leftovers this afternoon and there was enough left for both of us to share AGAIN. It tasted even better the next day.
This dish is spicy and FULL of garlic. You must love garlic to eat this dish! There were tons of calamari, clams and mussels to go with the lobster.
This place is worth the wait and I enjoyed a delicious dirty martini while we waited for a table. The bar area is super small but there is a little seating area where we waited and could sit and have our drinks without feeling in the way.

Excellent food! Not even really a sea food fan and this place changed that for me. The grilled swordfish was amazing! Took my wife for her birthday and she loved it. I would recommend to any sea food lover.

Sadly, I was totally underwhelmed. That's tough for me to say because up until now Street & Co has been my favorite restaurant in Portland. I don't know...I left a note on the Open Table app advising this was a birthday celebration for me and my best friend. We didn't hear a word about it. What's the point of leaving the information if they can't even wish us a Happy Birthday? Listen, I dropped about $220 + $45 tip. Money was no consideration. It's not good to spend that amount of money on a meal and feel like you haven't gotten your money's worth. Disappointing.

Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Be prepared to make a reservation otherwise will be waiting a long time. We waited an hr to be seated outside. The food was good. Our waitress messed up the order and my wife had to eat by herself while I waited for my food. But mistakes happen but they treated us to dessert! :) Keep in mind the place is expensive. Alfredo Primavera $26!!! Too much for pasta and some vegetables.

I always make sure to have dinner here whenever I visit Maine. The food is incredible!! I usually order some seafood pasta dish. Recently, I chose the lobster pasta with garlic butter sauce. It consists of a huge lobster sitting on top of a pan full pasta. It was so delicious! The lobster and pasta were cooked just right and it came with a ton of minced garlic.
My husband ordered blackened swordfish which comes with some veggies sauted in some kind of wonderful sauce. I don't know what kind but wow.
My friends chose Sole Francoise which is some kind of fish. It had the same veggies as my husband's and I think hers was the best dish. I'm definitely going to order that one next time.
Her fiance chose the grilled salmon and I think it was the best salmon I ever had. It was seasoned beautifully and cooked absolutely perfect.
The decor is this cottage theme with hung garlic everywhere. The kitchen is right in the middle of the restaurant, out in the open so you can see what they're doing which I like because that seems to me that they have nothing to hide.
