Much better than one would expect, especially when value for the money is considered. Not gourmet, or "true" Chinese, just really solid, and affordable, American Chinese. Just as long as the appearance of the building isn't too off putting for you.

This is my go-to place for Americanized Chinese food in Portland. I've gotten food here probably around 50 times over the last few years and have always been happy or ecstatic with what I get. I've turned on other people to this place also and out of 30 or so different people, everyone except for 1 person has agreed with me regarding how good the food is.
