My daughter and I ordered pancakes and bacon. Pancakes were dry and not fluffy or very good. We were only given a very small amount of syrup. The syrup did not taste very good. I prefer REAL maple syrup which their syrup was not! Most people would pay more for real syrup! The other people in our party had no complaints. Bacon was good and cooked well. Pancakes are not their specialty!

The food is good when it's good but there's an issue with consistency coming out of their kitchen. Sometimes great sometimes meh. You must be able to climb stairs to go, it's a basement level storefront with no elevator.

If you like grilled cheese in the slightest, then this is the place to visit. The menu is jam-packed with countless gourmet grilled cheese options. I've been for both dinner and brunch and they both were excellent. One of my favorite local places to eat for "man food."

First two or three times last summer were amazing. After that, mediocre at best for both food and service, and so I had to branch out for my late night eats. Last time I called to see if they had a certain beer for to-go, and apparently it's much too far from the kitchen — where the phone is — to find out
