Been here a at least 20 times over the years and the beer has been great. The food and service, not so much. About two weeks ago I got the fish, shrimp and chips and it was more like fish flavored fried breading rather than fried fish. Went there today, the service and food was really bad. I got the lunch taco special and specifically asked what came on the tacos. Was told twice only meat and cheese. The ice cold tacos arrived and they were more than just meat and cheese. The taco meat to start was a broken up hamburger pattie (probably left over meat from the day before) and in the mixture was something like a potato maybe, some lima beans, onions, carrots and other stuff, I think. Far from just meat and cheese. This was my last visit.

If you are looking for a good meal and happy service, make sure you ask your waitress more than once what is in the food and good luck with the service. I have very specific food allergies which include a very severe bean allergy and was told the taco Tuesday taco's had only "Meat and Cheese." We ordered and found that they had much more than that. If you don't include the beans, carrots, onions, and potatoes then yes... it was only Meat and Cheese. Be very careful when you order and have food allergies. You might get a trip to the hospital with your food.
The service was terrible. The manager seemed to be genuine, so I understand the concern for trying to make things right, but the waitress was terrible. If you are working for tips.. make sure you at least have a smile on your face and know how to interact with humans.
If you are here to watch a game and drink a beer, I think you might have a good time but if you are expecting to have a decent time for lunch, just head down to any of the other reasonable priced restaurants in the area. At least those people are nice and there isn't a potential food allergy waiting. (or a hair in the food)...
