In the mood for something different? Then this is your answer. Walk into this inconspicuous sit in dining room and you're greeted by an interior that mimics Asian street side vendors with the stall and all. Known for their BBQ skewers, (which we didn't get the chance to try), this place also offers rice platters with a buffet of stews. Stews are well seasoned and but the servings were luke warm. Portions are ample so you'll leave feeling full. The damage is about $12-$15 per platter (4 sides). Pro tip: its BYOB.

"Soul in the wall", at first look you'd think this is an a-typical place with decent cultural cuisine. Nope, the flavor goes beyond. The staff is super helpful, the food is like none other, and the prices are so low. Top 50 in Philly? Definitely.

I discovered this spot a year ago, when I moved to the neighborhood.
Their food is amazing. The place is pleasant and clean.
I've never left feeling less than 5 stars.
