Fresh doughnuts and coffee to start your day. I love the fresh hot doughnuts. This is one of the best doughnut shops in the area. A must try if you're not from around town.

I am simple guy and I loved their sugar doughnuts, brown sugar and cookies and cream are my favorite. Will definitely come back for their fried chicken sandwich.

Great Chicken...Awesome Donuts...Just a lil to Pricey. $7.50 for a Chicken Sandwich thats on a small Burger Potatoe roll that was only half filled with chicken. It was a delicious sandwich though.

What happened?
When Federal Donuts first got started what made them special was the hot freshly fried donuts tossed in unusual spices. The taste of Asian inspired spices on a donut was why we came back over and over. I suppose that was too much for others and the flavors that they have now are rather tame. It is as if the edge is gone replaced by safe choices. That is unfortunate.
I also noticed that things are hit or miss. Sometimes the donut is fried correctly and fully done on the inside.. sometimes it isn't and you get inedible dough. Hopefully it returns to the old glory.
