I am writing this because I do not want more people fallen the trap. This Present Clinic is very different from the one I have visited for more than ten years. I had a root canal treated 10 years ago, never had any problem with it. Dr in this clinic suspected one of the root had infection (really???), insisted I should have a retreatment. After three visits for total more than 3 hours there, Dr claimed that root could not be fixed and recommend me to find other place for surgery, $1200 dollars bill still the same. Many times during the procedure, I found either Dr did not have enough tools or just assistant could not find where they are. One time, I was upside down in an awful pose with clamp in my mouth, and kept swallowing saliva for whole 15 minute while no one around. After they came back (from lunch break?), no apology. After all these, Dr told me that I need crown repair, copay $100, I though it was serious repair that insurance would have covered some, ended up it was 100% out of pocket, I was very much impressed by their new language and business skill. The repair they did -- less than 10 second polishing! I requested my recent x-ray reports for three times already, still waiting after 2 weeks.

Due to the fact I was a broke full-time student without dental insurance, I couldn't go to the dentist as frequently as recommended (still try to take good care of my teeth though, flossing, brushing 2x day, etc). Last year I was forced to make an appointment due to a bad cavity that I couldn't stand anymore. I went here, after being charged $80 just to come in and be told "Yeah that's a cavity" and then get scolded for 15 minutes about not going to the dentist enough (despite the fact that I explained my situation and how I could barely afford it). I came back to have the cavity filled and was forced into getting x-rays of my entire mouth done (for $400) because I was told there was no way I didn't have other cavities. I didn't have other cavities and was out an extra $400 to find out something I already knew. Another ~$150 more for a cleaning and a filling and I was chastised constantly the entire time I was there. Not a good way to treat a first time patient if you ever want them to come back.

Dr. Leavitt and Dr. Ahn will always be my number one go-to dentist!
Dr. Leavitt is honest, knowledgeable, and professional. She will ensure that all her patients have GREAT long-term dental care. Unlike majority of dentists that I have experienced with, she will NEVER conduct unnecessary procedures to her patients. She will always provide with exactly what the patients need as opposed to giving in to providing what the patients “think” they need and want.
Recently, Dr. Leavitt’s associate, Dr. Ahn, started doing my dental care. I can’t express enough how satisfied I am. She is not only very professional and knowledgeable, but she is extremely meticulous with everything that she does.
Dr. Leavitt’s staff members are all very professional and caring. I don’t think I ever spent more than five minutes in the waiting room. They have the experience and knowledge to answer all my questions.

Good dental work, poor customer service. Dr Leavitt did some great work reattaching a broken off veneer, and clearly had a good eye for what to look for and explained everything well. Unfortunately the money situation was not handled well at all. After an initial visit I was quoted price for the procedure and booked for an appointment the next day. After going in the next day and getting the work done, the woman who quoted me insisted that she quoted me double what she actually had. Since the work had already been done I didn't have a record of a quoted price it was her stubborn-willed word against mine. I paid, but won't be returning for any check-ups.

If I had the no star option then they wouldn't get any. This office is all about money! I went here once and they misdiagnosed me with several conditions. Fortunately I got a second opinion before paying for all of the 'recommended' work done which btw costs over $1000. Shari is nothing but another money hungry dentist looking for the next victim
