The service at Macs is top notch. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and large TV set up for game day. Beer selection was great and it's a nice little spot to get a drink. I only got one food item there, which was the loaded fries option. I can't remember the name but it was almost like poutine and well worth the calories.

I was quite worried that the notariety of this bar would take away from the quality. Fortunately, I was wrong! The bartender knew his stuff and made stiff drinks that got the job done. He was friendly and straightforward.
The place is cozy and just loud enough to not be awkward, but you can hear whomever comes with you. I'd come back.

Mac's was awesome. We came here while on a quick trip to Philly due to the owners connection to the show "It's always Sunny in Philadelphia" -and during a Giants/Eagles game. eeeek! Luckily NY won and the place cleared out quick:) The beer list here was extensive with some really great choices. I loved how the bar had seating on both sides-almost a wrap around style. The vibe here was relaxed and fun. We only had drinks but would come back for sure to have food too. Great spot.

Wonderful place with a positive vibe. Finally there is a cool 80's rock music playing somewhere. Cause its so cool. Beats modern poppy garbage by a mile..lol Anyway, folks, try Fatty Heads blueberry honey beer, it is fantastic. Oh, we had a great service also. Highly recommended.

I loved it! Our waitresses (shift change, I think) were very polite and attentive. The drinks and food were delicious. We visited from out of town and are huge fans of Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and almost let the poor reviews here convince us not to go. I only had a few drinks but was so tipsy I literally walked through the door marked "Pirate".
I really like the picture of the Prohibition women, too.
Definitely go. Our bill for two (with two drinks each and dinner) was about $50 before tip (which the waitresses deserved). Really not that expensive!!
