My boyfriend and I went in here at 3.30pm and ordered our drinks and an appetizer, neither of which were brought to our table for 25 minutes. We ordered the loaded fries with the brisket on there. I asked the waitress what kind of BBQ sauce they used because the BBQ sauce that was on our food tasted EXACTLY LIKE Sweet Baby Ray's. She tells me that they make it in house (I asked a few other ppl who have been there about the BBQ sauce and they all, aside from one, believe it to be Sweet Baby Ray's as well) Anywho, after the appetizer we sat for another 40 minutes before getting up to walk out because they had yet to bring our main dishes. I can understand if there has been a lot of ppl there but there was literally one, just one other table that was occupied while we were there. So we were just about to walk out when they finally bring out the food we order, I tell the lady I'd like everything to go (we were standing at the front counter when they took the food to our table) she goes to the back and returns with to go boxes and just shoved them across the counter at us. We go back to the table and pack up the food and they didn't even have the damn order correct!!! We finally get our food and get out of there. We taste the food and it was beyond bland. The cheese in the Mac and cheese was separated, the "Southern fried Chicken" was garbage -the chicken at Popeye's is better than that, the collard greens had no distinct taste at all and the potato salad lacked any and all seasoning whatsoever!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone. All in all we walked out of there at about 4.50. I will not be back.

This places has great food, terrible service. The meat is some of the absolute best in Peoria and the sides are delicious as well. However, the customer service is awful. We have had someone sweep up (with a broom, dust flying everywhere) around us while eating, had drinks brought in broken glasses, leaking all over the table, no one checked on us, had to ask for ketchup, ask for the check and the entire time the server was sitting up front, talking loudly about her and other's personal business. Unprofessional and unwelcoming.

Ordered a half slab of ribs. When I looked in the container I noticed the cup of sauce was only one third full. I asked for a full cup of sauce and was advised that was all you get with a half slab and it would cost an additional $.25 for extra. I don't feel that would have been extra. $.25 is not the issue. The amount of sauce was not enough for two bones. The Manager was no help at all. Not the way to treat customers. He stated he was following the owners directions.

I would give this food a 5 !!! But I give it a 2 due to the service.
1. Always have to check my order when we use carry out. Never has extra sauce in it that I ordered and paid for.
2. I have eaten in the dining room on several occasions could be friendlier.
3. Today when I check my order ( full slab dinner and 1/2 lb of ribs and 1 extra sauce $35.51 ) I had to order more fries $3.30 because the dinner didn't have enough for 1 person. Usually we (2 people) can't eat all of the fries.
4. The owners son ( no personality) is who waited on me, said the are cutting back when I ask about the few fries , I ordered more, which is fine. But I just spent $35.00 you think you could spare 1 potato and a smile.
5. Lady next to me order 3 orders of corn on the cob and she only had 5 half's in her box and it should have been 6 half's.
6. Need to be more consistent and I will give you a much better and deserving rating on your food.

Kept hearing their ad on the radio. I took the family out to give them a try. The four of us ordered different dinners and everyone was more than happy with what they ordered. We will be back.
