Very quiet place. There was only one other customer there while I was eating dinner one a weekday evening. Cottage pie was excellent but I found the scotch egg lacking.

I took my family there and we all had different things. The BEST fish and chips ever, Best Burgers and the Muscles you'll sell one of your kids for a bowl. And as an American I really liked hearing Irish people laughing and taking about soccer (Football). You have to go here!!

The food was fresh and delicious. The server was very kind. It's self seating. I had the cottage pie with cranberry juice and my buddy had the whiskey wings. Perfect lunch! Would have given 5 stars if we had napkins and silverware before our meal arrived and if the employee only area on the 2nd floor would of been closed.

I'm in Orlando every other week, started in early August and stay at the Embassy Suites. FIrst week out, I walked around and tried a few different places until I walked through the door at the H & C,. Since then, when in town, you will find me having a drink and enjoying a great meal Monday through Thursday, I've tried and have had everything on the menu which always makes ordering difficult simply cause it's all damn good. The staff, Joe, Dean, Jay, Mark and the others makes u feel at home. Being from Chicago, when you order a drink or shot and see a free pour, you know you found the place.

This is what I think of when thinking of Irish pubs. Dark cool rooms, rich decor, a slight smell of antiques and history. When we arrived, there were only a few people, but things picked up quickly for lunch service. I recommend the leek and potato soup. I could see this as a good place to watch a soccer match.
