Cute part if town. Immediate seating for early dinner. Crowd and waiting started by 7pm. Wait staff was great to bring taste of beer before ordering. Pretzel crusted cheese curds we're an absolute best choice. Ribeye was good seasonal veggies could have been more chef inspired. Medium cook hamburger was also good but was expecting more flavor. Seems like a safe choice for a safe substantial meal but lacked a bit on creative combinations

The food was great, the server was super friendly and helpful in her recommendations from the menu. We sat out on the patio and it was a gorgeous night to eat outside. Did not try any of the craft beers but I hear they are amazing. Will definitely go back when we're in Omaha again.

One of the best casual restaurants in the Old Market.
A bit off the beaten path and that makes for a nice ambience.
They have shuffled the menu over the many years I've been coming here and that can be a little frustrating at times when new found favorites are soon MIA.
Their Smoked Gouda Soup is the BEST anywhere! (It also makes for an excellent pasta sauce.) ;)
The breads served with the meals is always fresh.
Even when crowded, the sound is not overwhelming.
There is usually a wait in the evenings but worth it.
If you've never been there, give it a try.

Our server wasn't very keen on what was going on. 3 out of 4 of us ordered a flight. 2 of us ordered flight of 4. That was fine. One of us ordered the 12 flight. She wasn't told they were out of 3 of the beers so she was only brought 9. She asked to comp the price to $9 instead of $12. Our server didn't even respond to that. We weren't super impressed with any of the beers except the wheat one and we're and craft brew kind of crew. One of the orders was wrong, but that was fixed within in a few minutes. The burgers were sub-par. The buns aren't toasted or anything, just a plain white bun. There wasn't a lot of flavor in the burgers themselves either. The fries were average, better than the burger at least. 2 people got pasta and they said it was about average. It wasn't really worth the price, in my opinion. I expected a little better quality. The atmosphere was spot on though. Very cool looking. We made our reservation and got seated exactly on time on a Saturday night. When we got our bill, the flight of 12 wasn't comped so we flagged a guy down and said that was no problem but did the math wrong and still overcharged. We won't be going back and wouldn't recommend it.

This place is all right. The food is usually okay and the drinks pretty good. I find it expensive for what you get. They would get better marks from me if they ever got reservations correct for us. We always call ahead because we need special physical accommodations and they always agree. However, when we ask for no booth or stairs, low seating... They *always* try to seat us in a high booth. It's frustrating and I don't think of personally plan a dinner there. I go there because my family arranges a gathering once a year or so... and without fail, the experience is the same each time.
