We have been to the boiler room on several occasions and have always been blown away by the meals. But on our last visit I was quite let down. The bartender seemed as if our presence was a burden. The servers were taking utensils away before they were done being used with appetizers and no one seemed sure when to fire the next course. And every dish seemed to portray a chef that orderes very expensive ingredients yet lacked the effort to utilize them properly. Or maybe he was just burnt out. High grade beef that was tough and chewy. Vegetables that were a little undercooked or overseasoned and sauces that didn't have the flavor you would hope for to accent the meal. Definitely not worth the $150 that we spent for the meal.

I think this is one of the best dining experiences in Omaha. Some places charge more, but the service is no different than most places. The Boiler Room is happy to accommodate your tastes and requests. They take the extra steps for a restaurant at this price point like brushing off bread crumbs. That may sound petty, but there are many places in Omaha that charge a fortune for a steak and you find yourself doing a lot of the work... not here. I've been going for close to a decade and have nothing close to a place to call home like The Boiler Room. Their staff are the best and go on to establish some of the other best places in Omaha- bars and restaurants. They are in a league fitting of a metropolis, but make you feel comfortable in this "fly over" state.

The hanger steak was amazingly tender and flavorful. Served with baby turnips and a wonderful sauce, I highly recommend!

I gave the Boiler Room restaurant a 5 star because the Aviance is so cool and the food was over the top! The waiter was very helpful and our food was exceptionally good! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great restaurant in the metro area! Me and my boyfriend will definitely be going back!

There is no place quite like it. I am not sure how food can be this perfect, but they do it every time. I had the Floridian Corvina tonight and it was outstanding. My dinner date had swordfish that was melt in your mouth. Between the totally amazing service and delectable food, you cannot go wrong. I can attest again and again. They have quite a talent....
