Was there more then 30 years ago still has great chicken. Only thing is Very Very crowded. Everyone wants to eat there.

I have been eating there for over 20years. Food is the we eat I like it. The waitress are a real joy too see. And since I am on a low salt diet, Richie makes my food the way I like it.

The staff was extremely nice and the food was delicious. I had the chicken and for dessert I had Strawberry Rhubarb pie. It was absolutely wonderful.

This is a small place that must be experienced to be understood. It is really cheap diner food that all around is pretty good, but there are a few things on the menu that are just fantastic. The fried chicken is the best in Omaha. Nobody else comes close. They also have great pancakes and French toast. The pancakes are almost a bit more like crepes. Whenever I go I always get a fried chicken breasts and two pancakes.
That being said you have to be in the right mindset when you go. It is a very small restaurant that was built in a laundry mat in the 80s. I don't think it has ever been updated. It looks like it was decorated by an old cat lady. It is an open kitchen so you get to see all the food being prepped which I like, but if you need to take a wee the only bathroom is through the kitchen and it may be a bit awkward. Some people may be put off by these things, but if you hold on you will get the best fried chicken of your life.
