I wasn't going to use a broker this time around but instead shop online on my own for the best values as it pertains to personal insurance –auto, home, etc. I contacted Insurance Services Group in Lacey because I wanted a quote from a specific carrier in order to compare it to the other quotes I obtained online. Merri-Sue Norris of that office, not only gave me the specific quote I requested but later went further and found better deals for the coverage I desired. Since I use personal insurance to protect primarily against catastrophic events and particularly those that involve liability, I neither need nor require the fancy-schmancy support from geckos, cartoon generals, Flo, or any other carrier who has to charge more to cover their expensive advertising budgets. Merri-Sue was able to find policies from companies that many most likely don't realize exist for substantially lower premiums with the exact coverage I wanted. Yes, they may not have the reputation or the ratings of the more well-known carriers but they're still AM Best A or A- rated companies. Compared to the quotes I was able to get online myself from the larger well-known insurers, the quotes from Merri-Sue, again, were SUBSTANTIALLY lower for the exact same coverage. I even had to ask her to double-check to see if the quotes she was giving were accurate. For me, it turned out to be too much work shopping for insurance online. Why not let Insurance Services Group do the legwork? They seem to have access to more carriers than the average insurance brokerage. For the time-being, I'll be staying with them!

Paul Edwards, with Insurance Services Group, has provided excellent service. I am a meticulous person, and truly needed to understand my business policy. He took the time to fully explain some of the more obscure verbiage. When it was time to change, he was once again spot-on.

Aside from Scott Campbell's parents I might be his longest continually insured client. He has had all my insurance business since the early 70's. Every time I've needed any type of a claim handled, from minor to huge, one phone call it's done. I've been solicited many times over the years by friends and associates to switch my business. Why would I do that? His firm has met or exceeded every expectation I have ever had. Might I be able to save $100 a year? I don't know and I don't care. I pay for service and superior service is what I've always gotten. As long as his firm exists and I'm alive he has my business.
