Top notch equipment. Friendly quality team. Dr. Gordy has been around 30+ years and now his son Garrett is along side him. I refer friends and co workers knowing they will be taken care of!

I used to hate going to the dentist, until I changed to Yamaguchi DDS. I was a little nervous on my first visit when after the traditional set of x-rays they brought in a digital camera to take photos of the inside of my mouth. After my exam, I was impressed with the time Dr. Yamaguchi took to explain each issue and show me not only on an x-ray (which can sometimes be difficult to read for non-medical folks) but also on the digital image where I could clearly see and understand the problem. Coming from a managed dental care program, I was surprised to get another visit (for a filling) scheduled just a week away! In my previous dental office experience, I would sometimes have to wait up to 4 months for another appointment!
I think that Dr. Yamaguchi and Dr. Garret are a perfect balance of dental functionality and cosmetics. I had several issues when I came to their office that needed fixed before heading off to school. They worked with me and my schedule to address all my needs in a very timely matter and the results were astounding. On my first visit, it was obvious that something was wrong with my bite (I could only chew with about 6 teeth because that is the only place they came together fully). After Dr. Garret removed my wisdom teeth (which was the gentlest removal in history—I was not in any pain after the procedure); Dr. Yamaguchi spent a lot of time doing an occlusal (bite) adjustment. My teeth now sit together almost perfectly. After that was settled, Dr. Garret went to work improving my smile. I had a crown which had always bothered me because it was much smaller than my other teeth and right in the front. With the help of Monty Tolman (performing crown lengthening) and an amazing oral scanning system, the Yamaguchi’s created the perfect crown. Even my friends and family can’t tell which tooth is not real.
I would whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Yamaguchi and Dr. Garret (and I have) to anyone looking for a new dental experience. They are great dentists, their staff is gentle and friendly, and their office is clean and comfortable.
