Went here for an anniversary dinner. The atmosphere is wonderfully modern & eclectic, which made the food & service that much more disappointing. The filet was extremely small and thin, and came out well done. We politely sent it back, and the server was understanding and brought out another steak. Unfortunately, the new steak was equally disappointing. The manager came over and was rude and unaccomodating -- I genuinely don't understand how such a nice restaurant could defend a steak that would even be low-quality for a Cracker Barrel... Anyway, we paid our tab, and drove to Urban Johnnies, where we had a blast & great food!
If you're looking for a date night spot, try any other Good Egg restaurant, you will not be disappointed!

The place is great, very nice ambiance, fancy looking with wide spaces. Great simplistic design and the food is stunning. The open egg toast is guaranteed to satisfy your taste buds.

I found this restaurant rather strange. It is difficult to find, and parking is a nightmare. The menu is quite limited, with an eclectic and odd list of offerings. I would highly recommend checking their menu before making the effort to dine there. Our server was terrific, prompt, knowledgeable and nice. Our meals took a long time to arrive from the kitchen, and we were the second of two tables of diners. The place was almost empty, so this was disappointing. In the future, I would not return should I be back in town.

Service was excellent, the appetizer with goat cheese and peppers was delicious. The noted pot pie was tasty- however the chicken inside was over cooked and dried. It also reminded me of Thanksgiving dressing due to the sage. The Salmon was just okay... the coconut cream pie was light and fluffy, one of the best I have had. Banana pudding with brulee bananas was probably my favorite...and the peanut butter cookie was just so-so. Overall nice experience and enjoyable food. Would I rave about it, no. But I would go again.

Coffee and pastries were really good. The staff was really friendly and professional. The food was good however it wasn't good enough to justify the price and it didn't help that the portions are small. For example the kids chicken fingers is $6.00 and you get 2 small chicken strips and a side of chips, and the kids drink is not included in that price. I paid $16.00 for their fried chicken pot pie. The portion is small and the chicken leg they stick in the dish is lacking in flavor, but the pot pie part was really good. I would recommend this place to someone who is looking for some good coffee and pastries.
