Pancake was burned and hidden on the bottom,ordered coffee and had coffee grounds in my cup,waitress didn't come back to check on me at all

Never got my complete order and got my syrup once my pancakes were cold., very bad service on 42nd at 1030 pm. Horrible!!!

A few pro tips for Denny's:
1. If your a waiter/waitress, making eye contact with your customers is a good start! 2. when your customer says thank you it's a good idea to say your welcome.
3. Let's keep it clean! When cleaning the dining area it's VERY UNSANITARY to wipe down the table with your rag, then wipe down the seats, then proceed to take the SAME RAG and wipe down another table!! Nobody wants to eat where someone's ass has been!
4. When your customer asks for a to-go box it's a good idea to bring them one! Not pretend like their request is null and void! Although by that point, after the disgusting cleaning effort I saw I didn't want one anyways!
I will never be back! Awful experience!

Walking in the door it smelled as if the sewer was backed up or stopped up one. The area they say us in was hot as if the air conditioning was broken. One of the menus the gave us was covered in syrup and the waitress started out by informing us that they were out of half the items on the menu! They were also out of kids menus. There were only five other tables besides us seated with less than four people in the largest group and it still took 30 minutes to get out good. The scrambled eggs were overcooked. Other than the eggs the good wasn't that bad. They definitely need improvement in all areas!
