Recently I had to put my precious Peper down due to fast moving illness we were treated with care and compassion above and beyond. Today I brought a new puppy to see , once again Dr.Runyan. The Care concerns and knowledge is the best one could ever want. Please know I have been to many Vetenarian hospitals here all good but still excellence to Dr Runyan and staff. Thank you Joyce Ward and puppy Sky

Kind and helpful staff. Appointments are easy to make and you are seen right away once you arrive.

We recently just got a puppy and were referred to Carlsbad Animal Hospital by a friend and for real they are amazing! They are always so nice and so helpful! Their space is beyond clean! Especially for it being a veterinary place. And they are always easy to get into! I would refuse to take my animals anywhere else after going here! 10/10 would recommend!

I recently moved to the area, and was referred to Carlsbad Animal Hospital by a friend, and was very impressed with every aspect of my dealings with them.. very polite, courteous and friendly on the phone when scheduling my visit.. the office is very clean, staff is exceptionally nice and accommodating.. and the vet that we saw was outstanding! They really take the time to get to know my dog, and her history.. I didn't feel like I was just rushed through so they can get to the next animal...I arrived 10 minutes early, and they saw me right away - love that! My dog is usually very anxious, and they were very patient with her and able to make her relax and feel comfortable with them... totally worth the 40 minute drive, and the fact that they are open late and on weekends is a bonus.. wait, for new patients initial exam is one dollar!!

Reasonable prices and very worth the money. Took my 2 cats here and they were treated with care. My cats were very comfortable with the vet and tech because they treated them with respect. :)
