Most of the time this is one of my favorite places to get a great sirloin steak at a great price. The only reason I'm giving it four instead of five stars is that every once in a while I come away just a big disappointed. My most recent visit was like that. It took FOREVER to even get our salads, and our steaks took at least 30 minutes or more. When they arrived, their flavor was as good as always, but they were only warm, not hot. All in all, just a little bit off this time.

The cook doesn't know what well done mean and I shouldn't see any red in my steak. The manager was covering up for them, and my plate wasn't even hot. She told me that they gave me a new plate, which it was a lie.

Service is always great but the food is always really bland. Third time trying this place out and I've decided it's not going to change. Way too expensive for what you get.

I came in to order a salad to go only to be ignored by every single server I was there 10 minutes maybe 8 before I was acknowledged. I know they saw me because I looked right at them and smiled. I too am in the food and beverage industry and it is very important to acknowledge your guests when they first enter the establishment. Getting my salad took quite a long time. It is my understanding that getting food to go is so you don't have to deal with the wait or the restaurant. Well I had to deal with both.

Love Apple Bee's. Good food friendly people. It's a nice reasonable place & great steak & ribs. Also great salads. Never disappointed.
