My wife and I moved to Ocala, last year. We eat out frequently and have been trying several restaurants. We have always tried to read reviews to help with our chooses. Unfortunately we didn't read Mimi's! Both our meals were not hot. The potatoes were so salty we couldn't eat them.The remaining food lacked very little flavor. Our server seamed bored or gave the impression he was. On the good side the place was clean and well decorated. This experience has confirmed we should always read reviews first!

I would have gave this restraunt 5 stars if the hostess hadn't have made us wait for 10 minute's to seat us when there was plenti of tables open in every room. And if the manager had not been hitting the kitchen door yelling about the way the dining room looked .. We could hear her every 5 to 10 min barking orders.
We watched her make a waitress who was waiting on customers stop serving the customer's and go get a broom and dust pan and clean the floor . a good manager would have let the waitress finish with her guest and would have swept it herself. The food tho.... Wow
It was good. Hopefully our next experiance with the staff will be better.

We ordered salmon with spinach and au gratin potatoes. Every bite was excellent. Jennifer, our server, was not good. We had to flag her down if we needed anything and then she would put it on the table without a word or eye contact. It made an awesome meal not so awesome.

The food here is mediocre at best. Service is poor and cleanliness needs work. Would highly recommend going to any other restaurant in town for a better experience and better value. I won't be coming back.

Stopped by for a late lunch. My husband had salmon, I had the French pot roast. Both were tasty, served hot, and accompanied by delicious bread sticks/mini muffins. Jonathan was efficient and pleasant.
