Very good place to eat, breakfast is cheap and usually quick though be careful I've had them a few times try to charge me doubly for items or not at breakfast rate before 11am despite being before that time by nearly an hour and finishing before then.

Went in with a friend today to get something to take home for lunch. It took a bit for the waitress ( Louise I think her name was) to get to us but we ordered and told her it was to go. She said she'd be right back to ring us up. 20 minutes later, she's walked right past us at least 6 times with no intention whatsoever of ringing us up until the food arrived which was a shame as we needed to run into the grocery store for drinks as the meal didn't come with any. When we get the food we find that we have been shorted on their usual portions. My friend explained that she comes there quite often and had ordered a bowl of grits with cheese on the side. Our waitress apparently heard with a side order and that was why it was in such a small container. Then she says
that it is in fact the same amount that they always serve. When my friend pointed out the bowls she is normally served the grits in, our waitresses tune changed yet again with another excuse of "because these are the only containers we have". The food was quite bland. I'm not sure when the last time is that I've had a bad chicken sandwich from someplace but it was most certainly not appetizing. The onion rings we're crispy and soft and the same time but again, quite bland. Pretty disappointing all around which is sad because I really wanted to like this place. I work right across the street and would have loved to have found a new breakfast place to visit with my coworkers and friends.

Great food. Quick and very affordable. And the staff is great and very friendly! Second day eating breakfast here! LOVED IT!

Oh my, going to this little gem in a small strip center was an excellent idea! Went there for my first time around 11:15 am on Wednesday. I ordered a bacon/egg/cheese sandwich, the "Mountain Scrambler", and a waffle. The scrambler was THE best biscuits and gravy breakfast platter that I have ever eaten. The sandwich was also extremely tasty, the menu said one egg only, but the cook either decided to throw in a second, or they have really large eggs! When I saw the waffle I thought it looked a bit dark, I didnt specify though, after buttering and adding syrup I had a bite and I have to say it was PERFECT. I wish I had taken a pic of my to-go cup because I scratched out good and wrote great instead. If I could suggest a renaming it would have to be Darrell's "Dog Gone GREAT" Diner. I'll be back!
