Not really a park.

The park is mainly just a greenspace along a creek. It is open from dawn to dusk.

Courtland Creek Park has a lot of character. It is a long, narrow park running from Brookdale and Courtland down to Courtland and Thompson down the length of Courtland Creek. In some areas the creek goes under the ground, but for much of the park you can take stairs that are built into the hillside down to the narrow body of water, which is currently covered in ivy. There are many native and exotic plants, fruiting plants include cherry plums, and wild blackberries. Very tall eucalyptus trees dominate the skyline in the part of the park between Brookdale and Fairfax, and they smell wonderful. Unfortunately there is a litter and grafitti issue with this otherwise gorgeous park.
