So I think the information on this place is unclear. It is currently (2017) under development to become a park in a few years. That park could be really nice. Right now, they are slowly moving the current residents who live in tents out and starting to landscape. There are no trails or facilities right now.

Cause the neighbors are so great and understanding when I'm camping there in between resedences. The way they make sure law enforcement is informed about our complete movements and activity is so welcoming. I highly recommend a visit.

This is more of an open space greenbelt than a park. It consists of the land from the abandoned rail yard.

This will be a great park someday soon. They should make the little station house near the storage place on Sherman into a museum showing historical photos and artifacts of the the old beltline. That would be very cool. I think the old beltline went all the way down into the former NAS (now Alameda Point) where the old China Clipper airplane service was headquartered before WW2. Before my grandparents lived here, but I saw old photos someplace.
