Perhaps the best Japanese food you have ever enjoyed coupled with excellent service in a modern full service restaurant that also includes a Lounge with world renowned Jazz performers. Highly recommended.

This was my worst experience wver at Yoshi's. I did not have dinner, so I did not have a reserved seat which meant I had to walk the entire venue checking seats for availability. After all of the checking, I find not one seat open. I am then told to wait while the staff checked for seats, she never came back! I then stood for almost 30 minutes before my friend went and asked a staff member for our money back. At that point the staff member asked why and she told him because we don't have a seat to watch the show. The staff member then told us to follow him and he took us down front and seated us. Why would someone who purchased tickets back in July when they first went on sale be subject to that. Needless to say El DeBarge was exceptional, just not my initial experience at Yoshi's Oakland.

The Food was great and ambience was fun and lively. Service was a little slow and even though they forgot to bring out the dessert ( they never got it out after repeatedly ordering it). We had a good experience.

Great atmosphere! Visibility from every seat. good acoustics. Headliners! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great place to go get your live music fix.

This is a good spot for a nice meal. Nothing blew my mind, and service took a little long (without check ins from our server). Got the wrong food delivered and then the wrong drinks delivered to us, but was corrected when I notified the server. When we got the correct food it was tasty and enjoyed it. The live jazz was a nice touch as well but we did not stay for the entire show.
