30 years ago my wife and I had a large golden retriever. We were looking for a vet that specialized in large animals. Several folks we talked with recommend Dog & Cat Hospital. 4 dogs and 2 cats later we're still taking our pets to D&C. The staff and the doctors very caring and personable. They excell at diagnosis of illnesses and any other problems our pets have encountered. All our pets are rescues and so they come with many problems, some have been life threatening. The doctors and staff have saved our pets countless times. For two of our big dogs their end of life at 16 (human years) was handled with compassion and understanding. It's hard to lose a pet when your children grow up with them. They are part of the family. We've recommended D&C to countless friends over the years. Try them you'll be glad you did.

Amazing doctors great experience brought my dog at 2 months old and have been going ever since. My puppy is 8 months old now and they love seeing her. Great friendly staff and very well educated caring vets

I've used Dog and Cat Hospital for years, and last Friday afternoon had our first emergency. My six year old dog had swallowed a needle. They worked me in, evaluated her quickly, showed me the X-ray, and performed a successful needle-ectomy! 😉 Very efficient and smooth.

Friendly, experienced, great prices, been taking my dog to them for three years and the service is consistent and knowledgeable. The staff has patience and love for owners and pets, facilities are spacious and clean, well established. Prices for visits, medication, and supplies are below expectations and area average especially for the location of the business one would think prices would be more in the heart of Ghent. Keep up the great work all and thank you for keeping our four pawed family healthy!
