It’s been going down hill for years. Used to really like the food and atmosphere. Went by this afternoon for the first time in about a year. Was surprised how dirty and shabby the place was. Was surprised to see it’s called Larry’s Deli now. Needless to say I lost my appetite. Only question on my mind is What happened?

Very dark and crowded during lunchtime. Staff's not very pleasant and appear unapproachable.
Food's okay but I've had better at the Subway down the street and that's not saying much.

This place is not very good. The food seemed okay regular sandwich you get. The staff was the worst I have seen. The inside has blown lightbulb and no maintenance what so ever. The staff needs to be all fired and this place shut down. The owner needs to invest in another line of work. Maybe he could use the wet mop that is sitting in a pile next to the bathrooms.

This place is on the decline. It was once a thriving much sandwich shop for downtown office workers. Service has declined and wait times are long. They no longer make the bread in the location.
Fountain drink machine is consistently broken for Dr. Pepper. Froyo/custard machine broken forever.
Staff capabilities have declined and it takes awhile just to place order at the register. Ever since the manager Kevin stopped working Athens location it is horrible. Thank goodness Warren and Dante are highly effective at keeping things going.

This was my very first visit to Schlotzsky's! I was in town for a conference for work and when it came to lunchtime I was a bit perplexed as I am gluten free. I looked across the street from the hotel where I was at for the conference and at first wondered if they would have anything for me. As I thought I would have to settle for a salad I looked at the menu and noticed that they offer gluten free brownies. Intrigued I decided to Google and found out that not only does this place have gluten free brownies, but also gluten free bread! The sandwich that I got was remarkable. The workers are extremely polite! I read on a website that they also offer gluten free pizza crust. Thanks Schlotzsky's!!!
