Great place, great employees. Cool that it has 2 floors, first grocery store I know of this type. Meat section could use some work. As could the prices of the stuff upstairs in the health section

Being at the heart of Ghent most people walk to this Harris Teeter location. The employees are always able and ready to assist you. The outside is always clean and free of debris. I like that they change their displays quite often, it seems like every time I go in they change and that makes things feel fresh. Harris teeter in general is a little over priced, but with the convenience of its location, it's worth it for this particular store.

Plenty of parking available in a large parking lot. Excellent choice of products from Seafood, steaks and ingredients to make home-cooked meals. Laid out in a very logical order. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Pharmacy located upstairs as excellent service, very competitive prices and staff are professional and very friendly. Excellent place to shop and I would recommend this place to everyone.

I have always liked Harris-Teeter since moving to the region from California eight years ago. Great selection of everything, including brands I remember from the West Coast that other grocers don't have.
The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is prices. Prices for even common groceries are as much as 30% higher than competitors. But I continue shopping for the selection, and it's the closest grocery store to my home

This store has some good deals if you take your time and look for them. Sunday afternoon is when everyone goes to the grocery store, so I would avoid this busy time.The store is clean, and employees were helpful, mostly. I thought it seemed small at first then I realized it was two levels,
Health and beauty products are on the second level. I found their prices to be reasonable.
