Great place for a family picnic and day out. Just wish there were more benches and parking as it fills early. Arrive early to avoid dissapointment.

Beautiful location. Wonderful for picnics during nice weather and incredible light display around Christmas.

We come out to Dufferin Islands at least once a month to see the birds here. There are plenty of ducks, geese and seagulls. There are many people who come here - we often have to circle around twice in order to find a good spot to park. When we came in the winter months the festival of lights has some beautiful light displays around dufferin Islands. - A Richard Trus review

Nice place for a picnic with permanent charcoal BBQ pits on site. Lots of trees and walkways. Plenty of geese and ducks but unfortunately lots of gulls as well. Careful that they do not fly off with your lunch. - This is also one of the sites along the Winter Festival of Lights of Queen Victoria Park & Dufferin Islands (typically from the end of Nov. to the end of Jan.) It's a drive-thru experience and one of our family's traditions during the holiday season. They do and excellent job with many illuminated and motion - animated lit displays. Festival organizers or "Festival Ambassadors" collect donations at the exit point and donations are used to enhance and maintain these annual displays.
