Positively gorgeous grounds. Lots of space to explore and learn about various plant species. Sincerely enjoyed the butterfly conservatory.

I am very disappointed that they have made the back parking lot "authorized parking only" . As a local resident, and an avid photographer, I used to go regularly and park back there, lots of space. Now, as a senior, on a pension, I can't afford to pay for parking every week. Even a parking pass, purchased annually to all attractions in the area, would be something to think about. For example, if I were to drive to my in-laws place in Virgil, stopping at some of the (now) paid parking spots along the way, just to take a couple of photos at each, it would cost me a fortune!

Well worth the price of parking! We visited on the civic holiday (8/7) and spent two hours wandering around the beautiful gardens. We arrived in the morning (9ish) and basically had the park to ourselves until around 10:30. I don't know much about plants, but my girlfriend had a great time soaking in the variety of plants and the neat ways that they are organized.

We did everything that can be done in this area. We walked through the butterfly sanctuary which our toddler loved. When we left, we went and took the horse and carriage ride. The only downside was it was incredibly difficult to hear the driver. They should definitely have a speaker an microphone aboard to hear her. Otherwise is was a good experience for our youngster.

Beautiful garden! Saw a snake, a frog, and several butterflies. Got to go into the butterfly conservatory and there were a lot of good picture moments. There were a lot of people here too. If I could, I would give a 4.8 because I wanted to get a butter tart from the cafe but they were all out, but that wasn't too bad.
