This used to be one of my most favorite places to visit when I was a kid back in the 1980s. I used to ride my bike out to this place and explore the meadowlands. Back then the boardwalk was brand new, and very easy to ride a bicycle on because the trails were so smooth. You could also ride out to the end of the Transco trail and see the traffic driving along the New Jersey Turnpike. Lots of places to get lost back there, and lots of cool places to see. A true New Jersey treasure! Check it out!

Nice place for a relaxing walk. There's a little bit of a pungent smell at low tide, not unbearable by any means. Great place to spot some wildlife.
