Walked into the non-descript salon & was greeted warmly by the receptionist. I noticed that the salon smelled wonderful. My stylist was busy with her previous client, so I was told to get comfortable, grab a seat, and take a glass of hot tea, if I so desired. The tea was delicious.
My stylist today was Stephanie and she was kind and asked alot of questions regarding what I wanted. She did a great job with my hair and I was happy to walk out feeling much lighter.

Quality in what Karcher does = 100% yes - my hair cut and very first facial were both amazing. Stephanie definitely gave me my best haircut in the last 10 years. She actually listened to what I wanted and then did it. Seems like a simple concept but seriously she is the first one that's actually got it right. The facial blew my mind and opened a world I never knew existed. +
The space = Rad. Really nice salon area! To me it felt like a combination of a high class ladies salon crossed with a cool dudes men's barber shop and a stylish bar. If they would have offered me a beer I may have thought I was in heaven. The spa area was very welcoming with a comfy couch lounging area and very relaxing treatment rooms that were completely decked out. You enter into the spa area after walking through a beautiful outdoor garden with a huge tree, fire pit, lounge chairs, cute patio with picnic tables and even some toys around for those of you that might bring kids with you. Just throw them out there and enjoy your treatment. haha

More on the facial. Go to Vanessa!! She was incredible. I have never had a facial, not the type to even think about getting one. After lots of fighting I finally took the advise of my girlfriend and got one. Wow was she right!!! She always is I should have known. The facial was incredible. Vanessa was very informative and did an amazing job. completely changed my mind on facials. I hope to get one by her at least once a month now. If you ever want a facial, go to Vanessa. I obviously don't have tons to go by but she seemed like a real pro and I left feeling amazing. Thank you to her!!

Greenpoint's new hidden gem!
I scheduled a facial with Vanessa to check out The Karcher's new spa and for a much needed break from the harsh winter elements.
It was the best decision of the weekend.
The receptionist lead me through a wonderful outdoor garden, upstairs to the spa space that was very calm and inviting upon arrival.
The whole experience was luxurious- from the warm, cozy massage table to the alkaline water steamed towels that she used after each step of the facial, down to the organic products she customized based on my skin type and skin care regimen.
The facial also included a head, face, and shoulder massage that was beyond relaxing!
Vanessa was so knowledgeable about which natural ingredients help maintain healthy skin; I left the facial feeling like I had just come from a mini-vacation with awesome wholistic ideas for balanced skin care as souvenirs.
I highly recommend any treatments and services with Vanessa!!!
