Massages and heat,
central New York for cheap,
a great place to sleep.
If you're on a budget, this place is an amazing deal for New York City. You can pay $35 for a 24 hour pass to the spa. They'll hold your luggage for you if you're coming and going, and seem to be used to people coming to crash for the night.
I only got to see the men's side (this spa doesn't have any common area), and it had a hot tub, a cold tub, wet/dry saunas and showers. There were a couple of other tubs that were empty and I wasn't sure what they were for. There's a locker room and a separate "quiet area" with 8-10 massage beds arranged for people to nap. There are also a number of private rooms. Since we had about 8 people staying there, they gave us one large private room with two massage beds (and they arranged blankets and cushioning into beds for two more on the floor).
We rolled back into the spa around 4:30am, and my feet were killing me after a long day of site-seeing and a longer night of bar hopping. I decided to get a foot massage, but upgraded to the full-body ($100 for 55mins, but they subtracted the $35 spa fee, so I only paid $65 for it). The massage was pretty amazing, and they said I could just stay in the room and sleep there right after. Private bedroom!
Not a particularly fancy place - but everything works and is clean. An all around great option if you're looking for a massage or a place to crash in the city on the cheap!

Worst MASSAGE EVER. 110 bucks for her to walk on my back for a half hour. Left feeling very ripped off.

This was my first visit to Spadium Asian Spa and I was so pleasantly surprised!!! I had a table shower and a 1hrs massage, both were amazing. She is so attentive. She helped me relax after a rough day, massaged me and rubbed my head. It felt so good!!! She was very sweet and informative. The most relaxing massage I have ever had in New York. Super gentle extractions and great massage. When I left there my face and body were glowing!!! And still are!!! I can't wait to go back!!!

Awesome!! Massage Spa
Oh boy, did my shoulders and back ache! I moved to the neighborhood not long ago and was nervous about finding a massage place, because so often they are so bad. But Lauren at Dharma Healing Arts is AWESOME! She used deep pressure, just as I requested, and I felt like I was on Cloud 9 for the rest of the day. I will definitely be returning.
