Point by point:
Coffee: tasted like it was burnt, but also was terrible coffee to begin with... Jesus. However it was hot.
Hashbrows? They were soggy unseasoned mashed potatoes.
Eggs: sure.
Toast: definitely toasted long before it was ordered. Hard, cold, stale. Also served with frozen butter, yikes bikes.
Sausages/bacon: it was there. That's about it.
Service was actually pretty decent though. Food was unloved.

I usually have breakfast here. Last time I had a cup of tea and it was a nice experience. Waiters are not so nice, but they are helpful. There are many options for breakfast, which is pretty good.

Having a meal before seeing a Broadway show is a no win proposition - with all the chains in Times Square, there's no flavor to be found, and the smaller restaurants seem to be priced as if you could afford to buy the entire orchestra section for Hamilton! This lose lose deal is magnified when going to see a matinee, particularly a weekend one. Choosing between a packed sports bar and the numerous diners dotting Ninth Ave, I've yet to find a place that has become my go-to.
After eating at the Galaxy Diner before seeing Waitress, I can safely say there is no discernable life in this Galaxys food. Although the restaurant was moderately full for a Sunday early afternoon, service was interminably slow with water taking forever to come around with menus and what seemed like space time for a refill of coffee. My order of eggs tasted like they had come from the International Space Station, they were so bland and lacking in flavor and taste.

Pretty decent place in the middle of the night. Liked the burgers and options, it wasn't expensive.

Decent late night food served here. Buffalo wings were decent, great sweet potato fries. Slightly sleepy service, but no complaints.
