If we could make this a non tourist zone it would be the ideal park for NYers to relax.
This park is gorgeous. The grass is green and the views are to die for. Definitely a must sit down park.

This park is not huge or something.
It is small and accurate but still wonderful.
It has green part and a little playground with only one long metallic slide ending with sand. But there is a stony way up to this slide so kids need to climb up. So kids love it.
Rocks and sand combined with slide make hours of play.

I love to get up and out before the sun comes up and wander around in the peaceful, safe paths, and listen to the birds singing while heading over to the river. The beauty and the solitude bring such serenity. Do it all year long.
