Hotel was supposed to be 4 star plus, but a been at La Quinta hotels that were nicer than this place. It was very disappointing. Staff was polite but that was the only good thing I can say about it. The hotel is currently under construction, so you have to deal with the noise. Not to mention that there elevators were not functioning, so had to lift luggage to the 2nd floor. Half of the amenities were not available and who would really lay on the patio to relax when there is construction happening right next to you. Room was ok, smell stuffy. I had to purchase Frebreze & spray the room. The air conditioning was loud so either you deal with the loud noise or the heat. And to top it off, the bathtub was clogged and so was the sink, so had to wait for maintenance to fix it. I am sadly disappointed for the experience, because from the pictures the hotel looked so modern and relaxing. My advise is, if you are planning to spend $1,000 for the weekend, find a different hotel.

Bad service and actitud. The employees treats the guest like they are not that welcome. Specially if you arrive at night from a long flight or a busy day in the city. The check in it's a 4pm so, it's probably that you are going to make your check in at night. But the welcome moment at the front desk have a lot of opportunities to improve. Bad face, they don't give enough information, you have to discover all by yourself and if you ask you get a rude answer. It's almost like their are doing a special favor for you. And the truth is that you are paying and the one who it's the guest: it's you.
Please speak with your employees and train them better. Specially the girl who works at the front desk named Roxy.
It's a shame that we (costumers) have to go over here looking for better service. It's my first time writing a bad review. But I felt that was necessary.
Train them better.
You can do it better!

This hotel was overbooked when we showed up even though I had called earlier that day, and confirmed the reservation that I made a few weeks prior. Now with that said, the staff member that was there handled it very professionally, got us a room at another hotel at their cost.
The problem is, after we stayed at the other hotel, my card that was supposed to swiped for incidentals, was charged $780. Okay, mistakes are made, I get it, it happens. I called The Out hotel 3 times, and the problem never got resolved. I had called the other hotel 3 times as well before I actually got a refund. It just seems like The Out hotel didn't actually seem to try and help us out once we were out the door. I personally don't think that's it's my responsibility to take care of a problem that was caused by the hotel in the first place.
I wouldn't recommend this place based on the fact that they are outdated, the jacuzzis were not working, and most of all, the lack care for their customers as soon as they have left the building.

Pros:
Friendly staff. Convenient location. Nice bathroom!
Cons:
The pictures of the hotel seemed nice, but upon arrival, the hotel itself was actually pretty dingy and in need of some TLC: chipped paint in the walls, dirty floors/carpeting in the lobby. My actual room was in a similar state: chipped furniture, dirty carpets, burned out lightbulbs, even a bloodstain on the sheets (though it did seem that they had been washed, just with the stain not removed).
Conclusion:
I would not stay here again. Though it seems like most have a good experience, there seems to be enough of a probability for a dirty room that I'm not willing to take that risk again.
