Don't go for a cleaning unless you want your gums to bleed incessantly. I never understood why the DDS didn't also conduct the cleaning himself as the dental hygienist are never as good. I literally had to stop them midway because my gums were bleeding so much. It was super scary. The office also calls you incessantly to make a follow-up appointment.

Dr. Chung is an excellent dentist. I can cite my experience as a most positive one from the very beginning with Dr. Chung and his staff. From my very first visit I was made to feel welcome and comfortable both by the friendly competence of the staff and the overall pleasant environment of the office itself. Kudos to everyone and the highest recommendation to Dr. Chung.

Dr. Chung is incredibly talented, and very nice - my entire family goes to him. He takes as much time with you as you need, explains things in detail, and truly cares about his patients. I have been to many dentists throughout my life, and he is head and shoulders above them all. He addresses both the health and the cosmetic appearance of teeth, ensuring that your smile is both in good shape and looks beautiful. He does not judge or pressure you into anything, which many dentists do. I consider him the best in Manhattan, no question.

Dr. Chung is hands-down my dentist for life. I've referred family, friends, colleagues (even my boss and her daughter) and will continue to do so. He's personable, humble and holds himself accountable for all the work that he and his staff do. And helping him meet his high standards is his wonderful and efficient staff. They are all pleasant, professional and just genuinely good-natured individuals. Such a pleasure to actually go to the dentist's office.

I have been under the care of Dr. Chung for 3 years. I came to him in bad shape after a high-end CPW dentist destroyed my mouth. Without bashing the other dentist he cleaned up the mess which took several sessions. I feel comfortable and trust his judgment. I Highly recommend him.
