Better than we expected. Started with a video history of Mardi Gras which actually taught us several things we didn't know.
Generally over our trip we were surprised to find that many of the locals are very into Mardi Gras which made this feel even more worthwhile.

glad I did. The tour was very informative and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the whole subject of Mardi Gras. We were also able to go into the building next door, which was very cool, would love to be invited to a party there. The price was right and they even pick up and drop off, our driver was hilarious. I can't say enough..but definitely check it out.

very affordable, learn the history, see how the floats and props are built. behind the scenes look that is worth every penny. shuttle bus available. walking distance from french quarters.

We really enjoyed our visit to Mardi Gras World. They gave us all the history of Mardi Gras via a video presentation and then provided us a tour through the manufacturing floor and warehouse. We were able to take photos and look at all the cool props and floats. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the city for a few days.
